This is Jurgita Petkute
Jurgita works as a Talent Acquisition Specialist with Global People and Communications, Denmark.

“The freedom to explore new ideas and new ventures is what drives me. I am passionate about following the latest trends in Talent Acquisition and combining these trends with data analytics, so that I can work in a more efficient manner and improve productivity.”

The main focus of my work is to identify, attract and hire the best talent to meet current and future business needs. I am acting as a talent advisor for the business and I am running the full life cycle recruiting. Furthermore, I am responsible for talent attraction and employer branding activities as well as building a quality pipeline of diverse talent.

What I really enjoy about my work is the tremendous influence I have over the entire recruitment process and the trusting relationships that I am building with both candidates and hiring managers. I like the dynamics of my tasks. Whether I am brainstorming on how to improve LEO Pharma's employer branding strategy or how to attract the right candidates, there is always a new opportunity. This keeps me on my toes and makes every day different. Not the least I have a constant focus on how to improve and deliver “a top of the line” candidate experience. Especially for those who haven’t been hired, because they are also our brand advocates.

I am privileged to have the opportunity to work with the best people at LEO Pharma, both within the various business units and in Talent Acquisition. The passion and support from my colleagues inspire me to go the extra mile.

I think LEO Pharma is a great company for those who wants to be challenged on a daily basis and for those who doesn’t wait for change, but actively seek it out and promote it. When it comes to talent and potential, I think learning agility separates the best from the rest.

If I could invite any life science pioneer for dinner, I would invite Jane Goodall, an English primatologist and anthropologist. She’s a phenomenal scientist, animal activist, conservationist, philanthropist, and countless other things that essentially mean; “I care a lot about this planet and all life on it”. Watch any video with her talking about the things she's passionate about and you'll get a good idea of what it means to be genuinely dedicated to a cause.

To me pioneering means being open to change and actively challenge the status quo. Thinking forward and go ahead even though you have never been this way before.
